2022: Covid-19

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, I already take your safety very seriously. Registered members must ensure scrupulous hygiene and cleanliness of our work-place at all times.

Covid restrictions have largely been lifted, and I have updated this guidance accordingly.

Please take some time to read through, and feel free to give me a call or drop me a mail if you have any questions or concerns.

  • For new clients, I will be conducting a telephone consultation prior to the first treatment session. I will also send you a copy of my consent forms so that you can complete them and send them back to me ahead of the appointment.

  • Covid 19 forms are no longer required to be submitted prior to treatment. However, please be aware that some of my clients are immunocompromised and for this reason, I cannot treat you if you exhibit any of the main symptoms, which can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

  • I will continue to fully disinfect the room between clients. Please help me by arriving promptly (but not early) for your appointment time.

Treatments for clinically vulnerable patients:

The NHS have identified groups of people who are at a higher risk of complications from Covid-19.

This does not mean that you cannot have acupuncture treatment, but I do need to make you aware of the risks of being in close contact in a clinical environment.

Please check whether you are on the vulnerable list, and let me know when you are booking your appointment so that we can discuss and take any necessary extra precautions: https://digital.nhs.uk/coronavirus/shielded-patient-list

I will continue to monitor government guidelines and of course adhere to instructions issued by the BAcC, so please be aware restrictions could be reimposed at any point. I will make you aware prior to your appointment if this is the case.

I’m looking forward to working with you!
